A Complete Walkthrough of All Battlefield 6 Multiplayer Modes

Battlefield 6 gameplay

Battlefield 6 gameplay

Battlefield 6 really impressed fans with its open beta, so you can expect the game’s multiplayer to be the primary focus for everyone. While fans will enjoy the single-player campaign and that free-to-play battle royale, it’s the online multiplayer that’s bringing everyone to this game’s release.

The game is set to launch with eight multiplayer modes, five of which were available during that acclaimed open beta. Fans were able to enjoy these modes for a good few days, and we imagine a lot of them are antsy about simply playing through this again. While a third open beta doesn’t seem likely, our guide will help players who are looking to get into this shooter.

So, without further ado, here’s everything we know about Battlefield 6’s multiplayer modes.

Modes Not in the Open Beta

Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, and Escalation are the last three modes. EA didn’t include them in the open betas, likely due to tinkering and polish. It’s not hard to imagine what Team and Squad Deathmatches are like, but Escalation is a huge mystery to players right now.

Fans are theorizing that Battlefield 6's Escalation will be like Operations in Battlefield 1, where more areas of the map are unlocked based on your progress. However, that hasn’t been confirmed, so fans will have to wait for more details.
